I'm so happy you posted this. I got into fragrances recently because of the Netflix show "Emily in Paris" and one of the quotes in the show was "I don't wear perfume." "Why not? It's like wearing beautiful lingerie". Another quote was also "it's like wearing poetry". I was also never a perfume person but that gave me another perspective on fragrances!
i’ve recently been getting into colognes (although i still use solid colognes exclusively lol) and just appreciating the nuances of the olfactory sense, and this was an enjoyable read. also a good start for potential gift ideas 👀
fwiw, i miss megan's sensory descriptions of things like candles, colognes, and so on in some of her videos. loved how detailed she was while also making it fun.
